Overview of FKIP

The Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) has a mission, vision and responsibility in realizing education to improve teacher professionalism and skills through an open and distance higher education system. Because of this mission, we always anticipate various developments and advances in education, especially in the field of teacher qualifications. The innovation dynamics that we offer are in line with the Indonesian Government's policy regarding quality standards and teacher qualifications through the issuance of Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System and Law Number 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers. This affects the fulfillment of the undergraduate qualification target with a Bachelor's qualification for teachers until 2015.

  1. Provide access to world-class higher education through various online and distance learning (PTTJJ) programs.

  2. Produce educators capable of contributing globally.

  3. Expand access to community participation in continuing education to realize a knowledge-based society.

  4. Produce academic products in the fields of education, science, and distance learning.

  5. Improve the quality and quantity of research and development in the fields of education, science, and distance learning.

  6. Utilize and disseminate the results of studies in the fields of education, science, and distance learning.

  7. Enhance cross-cultural partnerships and collaboration networks to strengthen national unity.
