Course Design Finalization Workshop (RMK) and Interactive Teaching Material Development (BAI) for the Guidance and Counseling Undergraduate Study Program, FKIP, Universitas Terbuka

South Tangerang, 10/01/2024 – As a form of commitment to answering the challenges and needs of society in the increasingly developing world of education, the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Terbuka will soon open a Guidance and Counseling (BK) Undergraduate Study Program at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP). One important part of the preparation for the opening of the study program is to prepare a Course Design (RMK) and Interactive Teaching Materials (BAI) that are relevant and in accordance with the development of current educational needs. RMK functions as a basic framework in compiling courses, which not only include learning objectives and graduate achievements, but also the competencies that students must have. In addition, in the context of distance learning, interactive teaching materials are very important to ensure active student involvement in the teaching and learning process..

The development of Open University Teaching Materials starts from a blueprint called the Course Design (RMK), where based on the RMK, Printed/Non-Printed Teaching Materials of Open University are developed. The Course Design is a course plan that contains competencies and outlines of material for a course, consisting of Instructional Analysis (AI) and Learning Program Outline (GBPP). As an initial step in compiling teaching materials, the development of the Course Design (RMK) for the BK S1 study program has been carried out. Furthermore, the RMK that has been developed is reviewed by colleagues who are in accordance with their fields. The next stage will be the development of Teaching Materials that become a source of learning for students.
