Admission Stages Registration
UT has 4 Faculties, namely the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), the Faculty of Law, Social and Political Sciences (FHISIP), the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) formerly known as the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST), the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) and one Postgraduate Program. UT organizes 39 study programs consisting of 31 Bachelor Programs, 2 Diploma Programs, and 6 Master Programs.
After determining the desired study program, students will choose the courses to be taken each semester. UT has a SIPAS system, which is a course packaging system designed to assist students in determining the courses to be registered and integrated with the provision of teaching materials. While Non-SIPAS is a system of taking courses individually without following the course packaging rules and is not integrated in the provision of teaching materials. The acquisition of printed teaching materials for the Non-SIPAS program is done independently by purchasing online through the Online Bookstore (TBO) and the digital version at the UT Digital Bookstore or making an order during online registration.
Registration Types
UT implements 2 (two) types of registration, namely (1) new student registration/first registration and, (2) course registration. New student registration/first registration is the recording of personal data (DP) of students along with courses taken in the first semester. DP recording is only done once during their time as a UT student. Furthermore, students must register for the courses they take in each subsequent semester.
Registration Time
New student registration and course registration are carried out every semester according to the current year’s academic calendar. The academic calendar can be accessed on the UT website (http://www.ut.ac.id) or obtained from the local UT Region. Students are advised to register and purchase teaching materials at the beginning of the registration period in order to have enough time to study. Students who register for courses will receive a Registration Payment Information Sheet (LIP-R) from the local UT Region to pay tuition fees. The deadline for issuing the LIP-R and the deadline for paying tuition fees are listed in the current year’s academic calendar. Students are advised to register at the beginning of the registration period, long before the registration deadline ends.
