Academic Policy 2023
Naming and Naming Semesters
Equating (labeling) semesters at UT with semester naming in the Higher Education Data Base (PD-Dikti) so that reporting to PD-Dikti corresponds to the semester determined by PD-Dikti. Based on this, the following matters were decided.
-
The naming (labeling) of semesters for the period July - December is Academic Year (20...) Odd, and for the period January-June is Academic Year (20...) Even. Thus, the name of the semester from 2022.2 was changed to 2022 Odd, and 2023.1 was called 2022 Even.
-
The naming of semesters in the UT Catalog and other formal documents uses the Academic Year format (20.../20...) Odd and Even. Example: 2022/2023 Odd (originally 2022.2) and 2022/2023 Even (originally 2023.1).
-
Changes in the naming and designation of semesters will be implemented starting March 17, 2023 for the 2023 Odd Semester, and will then be included in the UT catalog for the 2023/2024 Academic Year.
Student Retention Maintenance Semester 1 and 2
This policy is applied to courses taken by new high school graduates/equivalent and non-RPL students, both Si pas and non-Sipas participants, who register in semesters 1 and 2 with reference to semester 1 and 2 package courses. This policy will be enforced starting in the 2022 Odd Semester (2022/23.1).
Pertimbangan Kelulusan Mata Kuliah Karya Ilmiah (Karil)
-
Starting from the Odd Semester of 2022, the Scientific Work (Karil) course is a prerequisite course for graduation that must be taken by students of every S1/DIV study program with a guidance pattern through Tuton and Tuweb, and with a graduation status of L (Pass) or TL (Fail).
-
Specifically for the D-IV Archival study program, the implementation of the Scientific Work course will only start in the Even Semester of 2022 (2022/23.2)
